Swimming & Waterpolo Club
The team competes in the Fresher and Senior Intervarsities, as well as the ISSA Gala in Abbotstown. We have won numerous medals recently at all of these events. The ISSA event caters for the “sport for all” ideal, and is a great way to promote swimming, health and fitness, as well as an active club. The club has members with coaching qualifications available to cater for all levels, from learners to competitive, and also hopes this year to incorporate a Waterpolo Team into the club and run water safety courses, if enough interest exists. Training times are Tuesdays and Thursdays 1-2pm in Tallaght Community School Sports Complex, Balrothery and also in Templeogue at times to suit members.
