Last season our Senior Team participated in the Division 1 of the Irish Colleges League and were only one game from clinching a semi final place. The club won the Irish Student Sevens. Games re
usually played on Wednesdays at 2.30 in Lakeland’s Park, Terenure RFC.
The club is Leinsters’ sole representative in the Premier Division and has provided the backbone of the Leinster Colleges team for the past three seasons. Bursary recipients Ollie McCormack and Brian Moroney started for the Irish Colleges last season against the Welsh Colleges and the Scottish Universities. If you are in first year and are under 20 you can represent the college in the O’Boyle Cup competition. Last season ITT Dublin won the Cup beating a very strong Athlone IT in the final on a score line of 16-15.
Every year ITT Dublin enter the Leinster Intervarsity Mixed Tag (no contact) competition and those of you who have played during the summer will know how enjoyable this can be. Mixed tag can be played minimal rugby knowledge or experience.
