The Instron 8516 servohydraulic testing machine is used for higher capacity fatigue and static testing of biomedical, advanced materials and manufactured components, where more working space, higher maximum actuator movement and more customization may be needed and desirable. Similarly to a universal testing machine, a broad range of mechanical testing (e.g. flexural 3 point) is possible and use of data acquisition software can be used in conjunction with the unit to record and output graphs and data reports.
