President's Volunteer Programme
The Institute will run the President’s Volunteer Programme (PVP) once again in 2011-2012. This Programme involves ITT Dublin students working with second level students from six local schools, to help support the development of their maths abilities.
The Programme takes place on the Mezzanine floor of the Canteen starting 17th November on four Thursday evenings from 17.00–18.30, then six Thursdays (TBC) in 2012 between the start of February and the Easter break.
What are the Benefits of the PVP?
The benefits to tutors involved are:

Development of personal and professional skills - team working, organisation, time management, listening, interpersonal communication, facilitation, tutoring skills, problem solving and presentation skills.

The Institute provides tutor training and Garda clearance for all ITT Dublin student tutors taking part.
