Youth Work is non formal education designed to enhance the personal and social development of young people. Youth Work gives young people access to new experiences and helps them develop their communication and social skills. This takes place in voluntary youth clubs & youth groups, in one to one mentoring programmes, in youth projects, summer activities and in special interest groups across the country. Volunteering to work with young people in a Youth Work setting is a rewarding, exciting and challenging experience.
