Postgraduate Presentation Award for ITTD Research Student

ITT Dublin Postgraduate Research Student, Anne Costello (Dept. of Science), was recently awarded Best Postgraduate Oral Presentation for her submission entitled 'Investigation of virulence and competition between CF pathogens using in vitro and in vivo models', at the Irish Branch of the Society of General Microbiology's (SGM) conference in NUIM.

This prestigious award includes a trip to the Annual SGM meeting in York next September, where Anne will represent Ireland in the Young Microbiologist of the Year competition.

Our congratulations to Anne, her supervisors Dr. Siobhán McClean & Dr. Máire Callaghan and all those supporting research activities on this notable achievement.
