Enterprise Evolution Programme - Diploma in Enterprise Innovation
About the Course
This programme is aimed at people who wish to broaden their innovation and entrepreneurial skills. It will give them the understanding and knowledge necessary to develop creative export led enterprises or provide solutions for organisations facing innovation problems.
Students will:
- Work in teams to create innovative and export led enterprises
- Gain an in depth knowledge and understanding of the theories and methods of innovation and entrepreneurship
- Appreciate the importance of enterprise development in an Irish and Global Economy context
- Understand and appreciate the linkages between innovation, business and the technical aspects of an organisation

Timetable: 4 days per week (some evening attendance may be required)

Entry Level
Applicants must hold a recognised degree at Level 7 award or equivalent qualification or work experience in any business, science, technology or computer related discipline. All applicants must have competence in spoken and written English (see page 126 of the Part-time Programme Guide). Applicants must also be on the live register for a minimum of 3 consecutive months prior to the start of the programme. Applicants may be required to complete an interview as part of the application process.Course Content / Timetable
This course is delivered in a unique holistic manner that will allow participants to gain an understanding and knowledge of a range of subjects. In each of the modules participants will learn though a variety of mediums include peer to peer learning, academic lectures and workshops delivered by successful, experienced entrepreneurs. Modules covered include:
- The Global Business World
- Management, Financial Analysis and Marketing Essentials
- Introduction and Overview of Global Industries
- Problem Solving and Innovation
- Selling, Communication and Teamwork
- Innovation Project

---Fees & Funding
This programme is funded under the Labour Market Activation Fund (LMA). There are no fees for students who meet the eligibility criteria. i.e.
- Participants must be unemployed and on the live register for a minimum of three months prior to starting the course.
- Participants must meet the HEA eligibility criteria (for EU status) described on page 132 of the ITT Dublin part-time programme guide.
