Pen Picture:
Patricia Medcalf holds a Masters in International Marketing from the Michael Smurfit School of Business, UCD (1991) and a Bachelor of Arts in Business Studies and Economics from Trinity College Dublin (1987). She has worked in the Institute of Technology Tallaght since 1997.
Her main academic interest is in Marketing Communications and she is currently writing a book on the subject, which is scheduled for publication by Gill and Macmillan in 2004. Prior to her move into academia, she has most recently worked with corporate and brand identity specialists, The Identity Business (now known as Enterprise IG). Before that she held positions in Siemens and the U.K.-based direct marketing agency, Brann.
