Pen Picture:
Simon Magennis holds a Bachelor of Arts in Accounting and Finance (1993) and a Master of Business Studies in Accounting (1994) from Dublin City University. He is an Associate of the Institute of Chartered Accountants (ACA), qualifying in 1998. He joined IT Tallaght in 2006 as a Lecturer in Accounting having trained and qualified as an accountant with PricewaterhouseCoopers. He also has experience of accounting in industry, in a regulatory environment and has lectured previously at university and professional levels.
